As the School Counselor, I am here to help your child in areas of social development and academic achievement. My goal is to create an environment where students feel safe, respect each other, and value themselves.
I provide individual and group counseling along with guidance lessons for each class throughout the school year. I also collaborate with families, teachers and other stakeholders within the community to ensure your child’s success.
I am here if you have concerns, need resources, or if you just need someone to listen. Please reach out.
Show Your True Colors
Our school motto is “Show Your True Colors.” As your counselor, I will help students understand and live this motto. We will focus on the six pillars of character: respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, fairness, and citizenship. Each month, we will highlight each of these character traits in the classroom. We will work on these traits within ourselves and learn to put these traits into action for our community.
More About Me
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Texas San Antonio and a Master’s degree in Counseling from University of Houston- Clear Lake. I have 10 years of experience teaching and working with children. I love spending time with my family and exploring new places. I have a three-year old son and a one-year old son who both love to go to the beach, dance, and build whatever comes to their imagination. I am also an aunt to two little nieces that were born just two days apart. I grew up in Friendswood and graduated as a 12-year senior. I love this community and the families that make it home.
